Monday adoption of the long range master plan for the Parks and Recreation Department faces criticism as officials acknowledge deviation by taking ownership of the Lakewood pool. Dr. Anthony Zito of the University of St. Francis in Joliet led the study with student involvement, and some trustees question outside consulting. The plan designates a master park plan and will be open for public viewing at Village Hall.
