Veteran finally honored with military funeral for father
Bremen VFW Post 2791 members planned a long overdue military funeral for Pete Oehmen, who died in 1983 without proper honors. Bob Oehmen, a WWII veteran and post adjutant, helped organize a 21 gun salute and flag presentation, joining forces with Jeff Plese, Roger Gasa, and Richard Anderson to ensure his father received the send off he deserved.
