O'Toole Files Taken in Matteson Church Break-In
Two metal file cabinets containing church and parish records were stolen from the Matteson St Lawrence O'Toole church office after a break in through a broken window on June 21. Detectives found no sign of theft of cash or equipment, suggesting the burglars sought documents, not valuables. The pastor, Rev Richard Sullivan, urged anyone with information to come forward and noted no birth records were in the cabinets.
