Homewood man charged in window peeping and suspended license
Hazel Crest resident Jeffrey Bryant, 44, of 2721 Larkspur, faced two counts of disorderly conduct for allegedly peering into a Homewood resident's window this month. An officer observed Bryant matched the description after stopping his car near Locust and Kedzie for a suspended license inquiry. Bryant’s actions followed a prior report of a man looking into the victim's window.

Park Forest youth charged with unlawful firearm possession
Daetjuan Camp of 1418 E 13th Place was arrested after police were called to Park Forest Academy. In a separate case, Stegerman reported a 4 a.m. carjacking at 31st Street and Union Avenue where two men used a gun to force him from his red 1989 Buick Skyhawk. the car was recovered later on East 21st Street in Chicago Heights.

Gunfire leads to aggravated discharge charge in Matteson incident
Tijuan L. Elmore 23 of Chicago Heights is charged with one felony count of aggravated discharge after firing a single shot from an .88 caliber revolver at a 25 year old Matteson man in front of a Lindenwood Drive apartment. Police recovered the weapon and no further charges planned due to a prior feud between the men.
