Cardinal designation highlights Archdiocese visit to Harvey
Pope John Paul II announced Chicago Archbishop Francis George would be elevated to cardinal and visit Ascension-St. Susanna Church in Harvey for a rededication ceremony marking a $200000 renovation. About 200 worshippers attended as George spoke of the elevation and its significance for the South Suburbs Catholic community.
