Weekend spree of car damage reported in Homewood
Homewood police logged six car damage cases over the weekend. A Crete man saw four strangers enter a nearby car and two white men, about six feet tall and 200 pounds, allegedly responsible for a dented door. Other incidents include broken windows and mirrors on several vehicles, a New Lenox man charged with DUI after a three‑car crash, and multiple arrests for trespass and disorderly conduct tied to local school events. A fatal injury from an earlier Hazel Crest crash was recorded for Eugene Carroll of Kentucky Court.
