PSC Drives Computer Access in Prairie State College Programs
PSC and partners promote technology access through Black Family Technology Awareness Week. John Hojek helps Ernest Ambrose in University Park learn computing skills at Prairie State College with $55 000 state funds secured by Rep. George F. Scully to bridge the digital divide. IBM reports show stark racial gaps in Internet use and PC ownership, while IBM and Ford sponsors support training at multiple Chicago Heights Park Forest area facilities and libraries.
