Feath creek subdivision faces wetlands and cul de sac concerns

The plan commission weighed 75 lots for Feath creek subdivision amid wetlands and flood plain limits. Engineering studies by Christopher Burke Corp and Hancock Engineering found the proposed 700 and 1500 foot cul de sacs could shape future development and potentially affect flooding. Residents cited flood history and urged preservation, while village officials noted through-street connections are limited by wetlands. Fire and police access was a key safety consideration.
