Joliet Junior College creates a Women’s College within its curriculum, the first in the state and second in the nation, to promote gender equity. Dr Roya Falahi leads programs including workshops, gender fair materials, counseling, and mentoring. Empowerment ’98 conference kicks off the effort with a grant from the Illinois State Board of Education.

Will County boards weighs lease vs buy for sheriff fleet
