Hazel Crest resident Marcia Robinson was found guilty by Cook County Circuit Court Judge Edwin A Gausselin of second degree murder for the December 29 1996 killing of her boyfriend in her Hazel Crest home after a two day bench trial. Robinson testified that Edwards raped her and she shot him in the back of the head as he lay naked watching television. Prosecutors contend the acts were consensual.
