Residents recycle Christmas trees at two Will County sites
South Suburban residents may recycle Christmas trees from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Plum Creek Nature Center in Goodenow Grove and on Jan. 13 at Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville. Forest Preserve District employees will chip the trees for mulch and trail projects with no fee. Plum Creek is 1.25 miles east of Routes 1 and 394 on Goodenow Road.
