Banovich fills vacant Richton Park trustee seat

Chester Wilkins was appointed Monday night as Richton Park’s newest trustee. He becomes the first African American on the Village Board and will fill the unexpired term of Susan Hartman who resigned. Wilkins works as a labor union vice president in Chicago and has lived in Richton Park three years. The appointment notes he is best qualified. he may seek a full term in April 1995.
