The Star and Midwest Suburban Publishing readers contributed a record $82,000 to Project Share. Over 3,300 area families received holiday meals, thousands of pounds of nonperishable foods were donated to eight pantries, and hundreds of children received new toys. Kraft Foods raised $25,000 with deposits totaling $57,741.87 by December 22. final donations push the total past eight figure mark.
