Pace to continue handicapped service with fare increases
Pace agrees with the Regional Transportation Authority to maintain dial a ride for handicapped riders at expanded levels while raising fares on fixed routes. Regular line fares rise from 1.10 to 1.15, feeder routes to 1, and paratransit charges jump to 5 for riders beyond 3/4 mile. Public hearings set for January 10 to 16.
