In-house court system starts strong in Richton Park
Police Chief Richard Labus reported the first day of Richton Park’s in house court on Dec 10 went well. Hearing officer Robert Clifford presided over 56 cases, with $500 in fines collected and $1,675 placed on 30 day payment, plus $850 previously collected from people paying fines rather than appearing in court. Richton Park Boots First Parking Ticket Booting Incident
Richton Park police used the Denver Boot on a car in the Illinois Central lot after the owner accrued over 1300 in unpaid tickets.
