Marjorie Hall Named Illinois Teacher of the Year
Marjorie Hall, longtime SPEED Development Center teacher in Chicago Heights, is celebrated as Illinois Council for Exceptional Children’s Teacher of the Year. She transformed a classroom for 11 severe and profound students, built a Parents as Partners program, and plans to retire after a 38 year journey from dental hygienist to educator.
