Man posed as repairman steals from two Chicago Heights eateries
Police say a Black man 6 ft to 6 ft 2 in tall and about 170 pounds stole $100 from Dunkin Donuts on November 7 and $100 from Subway on Friday by posing as a repairman and claiming to call the owner. A separate home theft netted $160 from Terry Court. A third robbery at 16th Street and Vincennes Avenue involved a gun and $60.

University Park police report multiple local arrests and a missing person case
University Park officers reported Paul B Lawson 26 of 1015 Sierra Court was stopped on an outstanding warrant while riding in a vehicle driven by a woman lacking a driver’s license. Lawson claimed ownership of the vehicle. Park Forest also had an outstanding warrant for Lawson. Katherine Morris 31 of Crete was arrested after a traffic stop for driving on a suspended license and driving with one operating headlight. Celestine Robinson 27, missing since Oct 24, reappeared Nov 28 at Glenwood Nursing Home to collect a paycheck, ending a police search. Robinson’s whereabouts had remained unknown with no stated reason for disappearance. Roderick L Hamilton 30 of Park Forest was charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without proof of insurance, and illegal trans.
