Robert W. Herr, 19, of Crete faces contributing to delinquency charges after police found cocaine in his vehicle around 10 20 p m on November 24 in the 300 block. A 16-year-old passenger will be petitioned to juvenile court. Jeffery J. Williams, 35, of Chicago Heights, is charged with battery to a police officer resisting arrest and violating a protection order after a disturbance in the 1900 block of Revere Street. A struggle left the officer with a bruised eye and damaged glasses. Wookeia R. Scales, 23, of Chicago Heights was charged with cannabis possession near 14th and State streets around 1 10 p m November 24 after 27.5 grams were found in 18 bags in a vehicle. The driver, Sequient M. Travis, 22, is charged with illegal use of a vehicle to transport cannabis.

Glenwood man charged with domestic battery and resisting an officer
Glenwood resident Allen Richards Jr. 33 was charged with domestic battery and resisting a peace officer after allegedly pushing a family member into a wall and slamming her onto a bed. Police said he shoved both officers and resisted attempts to take him into custody.

Burglar damages Homewood WA home on 175th Street
