Three Chicago Heights residents charged in armed robbery
Chicago Heights officers arrested Eric Shaw 21 and Marcellis Davis 18, both of 19440 Glenwood Road Apt 313, and a 15-year-old youth from Thornwood Apartment Complex after a midnight assault on a woman demanding her purse with baseball bats and a cap pistol. The trio was spotted in the parking lot and taken into custody by Ptl. Warner Biedenharn. Shaw and Davis posted $90,000 bond Wednesday morning.

Sauk Village man charged after Sauk Village shooting
A Ford Heights man, Anthony Blakemore aged 20, was arrested for reckless discharge of a firearm after about four shots were fired near 217th Street and Peterson Avenue at 7:20 p.m. A juvenile was injured. the child was treated and released from St. James Hospital. Blakemore fled the scene and was later apprehended at 11th Street and Congress Lane in Ford Heights.

Hazel Crest man charged after alleged
Cook County police say a 26 year old Hazel Crest man was arrested in Harvey last week on drug charges. Joseph Williams of 3511 Birchwood Ave allegedly tried to sell rock cocaine to an officer who knocked on a door at 157th Street and Park Avenue. Williams dropped a black pouch from his right hand containing six plastic bags that tested positive for cocaine.
