TF South board races focus beyond rebel flag issue
Kenneth Olsen, TF South District 215 superintendent, hopes four board seats on November 2 will be decided on broad issues rather than the rebel flag. The district will replace the Confederate flag with a new emblem, with students allowed to wear flags on clothing pending the new design. A key opponent, Karen Walker, reversed stance, urging removal of Confederate symbols while advocating coexistence and opposition to racist associations.
