Consoli dated High School District 227 Board finals approves a district wide closed lunch hour for freshmen at Rich East Rich South and Rich Central high schools. Freshmen may not leave campus during lunch while upperclassmen keep open campus with parental permission. Principals may close the school during lunch if open campus fails. A petition from district parents prompted the policy shifts to improve safety.
