District 162 to lease Oakwood school to Matteson village
The District 162 board reached a lease with the village of Matteson for the Oakwood school building for next year. The village will pay 18 750 dollars annually and assume many insurance and maintenance costs while the district retains exterior duties and may sell the building in the future. The village gains occupancy July 15 with a five year reflow and 12 month advance notice termination.
