Homeless are harmless say area police chiefs to Flossmoor
High ranking officers from Olympia Fields Chicago Heights and Park Forest told the Flossmoor Advisory Committee for Sheltering the Homeless that homelessness is not creating serious danger. They cited few incidents around PADS shelters and noted no arrests of homeless people in Flossmoor in seven months. Community members voiced safety concerns as shelters operate in local churches and a temple.
