Jane Wick and Rob Gelep of Palos Park volunteer with Collie Rescue of Greater Illinois since 1997. Wick, a CRI board member, has fostered seven collies and helps match dogs to families after veterinary care, neutering, and microchips. The group relies on events, PetsMart adoptions, and volunteers, with 125 attendees at last year’s summer picnic.
