Richard Diggs died suddenly at dinner on last Wednesday after spasmodic spells. He was the son of Benjamin I. and Mellie Diggs of Susans. A funeral was held at the family burial ground with Rev George E Thomas officiating. He belonged to St Pauls Church and Sunday School and was to pursue foreign mission work. The community offers condolences to the bereaved.
