T. N. Pitcher a traveling salesman and J. M. How also a salesman were arrested in Murphy's Hotel at 1 oclock Thursday by Detectives Wiltshire and Palmer on suspicion of passing worthless checks. They were in the company of a woman identified as Mrs Pitcher who was not arrested. Pitcher later went to H C Boschen shoe store at 507 East Broad Street and presented a check.
