Mathews Exposition Excursion Plan From Local Line
In response to inquiries from Berke and Garnett, the Queensland Dominion Steamship Co announces a proposed excursion service linking Mathews and Gloucester counties to the Exposition. A weekly schedule from Hicks Wharf at dawn will run to Ware River, Severn, and St River landings, then to Norfolk with a special steamer aboard. Freight and passengers will be landed at the Exposition ground pier in Norfolk and upon return. The plan may adjust if conditions demand.
