In Philadelphia on a campaign day the Housekeepers League sold 1,3500 dozen eggs at 24 cents to protest high costs, with retailers generally keeping prior prices. Mrs. Wilkins of Now 36 Purser Yonkers was attacked in her home at 4 AM Tuesday by a large powerful man who choked her into unconsciousness after entering from the hallway.
