Terrible death of North boy with hog found nearby
Master Charle Snyder, fourteen, was found in the woods with his head shot off on Saturday. The hog slain beside him led to the presumption he killed it before taking his own life. He had set out hunting Friday evening and his absence prompted a search. Funeral services were held at the foster parents’ home, conducted by Rev. Giles B. Cooke, with burial in Trinity cemetery.
