Rat Helps Repair Telegraph Cable In England

A telegraph inspector uses a rat and ferret with a string to pull cable through iron tubes for inspection. The rat drags the line to the middle, then after a ferret attack resumes, ultimately guiding the line to the far end and easing the repair.
