Woman Dies After Horse Accident in Hampshire County
Mrs. Albert Carder of Hampshire County West Virginia died from injuries suffered when a horse bolted while she watered it near a spring. Brother in law kills man on public road near Smithsburg
In Opestown a man identified as Ald. Sept tib-Wil Reynolds, about 230 years old, was fatally shot by his brother in law Charles Kline, about 22, as they argued near the Smithsburg to Poandsville road. Reynolds died on the road. his wife, nearby, was wounded by stray shot. Justice Ferguson held an inquest. Kline fled into the woods and is being hunted by Sheriff Earnshaw and deputies.
