Tobias Mytinger died in Romney West Virginia on January 27 at age 12 after a fall caused a broken hip. He was a contractor and builder who retired about 20 years ago. He is survived by a widow and nine children.

Lewis E Suman aged 67 died of cancer Saturday in Keedysville after nearly five decades in the undertaking and furniture trade. He belonged 45 years to La Grange Lodge Odd Fellows. Survived by widow and children Clarence, Edgar, Mary, Cora, Robert, L H, Anne Suman. Also listed Cumberland Comptroller Hering Sick. Dr J W Hering, State Comptroller, confined by grip since returning from Annapolis. Stock Exchange Opens in Pittsburgh.
Washington dispatch reports William Jennings Bryan remains defiant and silent on retirement rumors. Friends claim the Democratic leader will seek the nomination despite party leaders and minority members fearing sidetracking would aid rivals.
George I. Anderson a 27 year old Baltimore and Ohio brakeman from Highland street died at Allegany hospital from a skull fracture after falling from a train near Connellsville. He was found along the track and transported to Markleton Sanitarium then Cumberland, later Bedford Street M. P. church will host his funeral at three. He leaves a widow two children and many siblings. Funeral and burial at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Officer Chaney tracked a theft spree at Frederick and Centre streets involving D E Kean’s wagon and George Lindner’s outfit. Robert Barsom was caught with stolen shoes and goods, bonds posted, and a related arrest of a prior convict named Earsom noted as impending.
Italian report says Ouida Louise de la Ramée, born Louise de la Ramée in England, died in Viaggio hospital after months of illness. She was impoverished, fond of dogs, and had written over forty novels including Under Two Flags and Chandos while earning vast sales and attention.
