In Cumberland the criminal court disposed of several liquor related cases. Thomas Hughes and Robert Murphy were found not guilty of turkey theft. Mary Hessinger was convicted of selling liquor to minors and fined seventy five dollars plus costs. W A Westbrooke and Henry Westbrok faced similar counts with Westbrooke fined fifty dollars. James Rankin faced a verdict of not guilty for selling liquor to a minor after testimony by Jeannette Shaub. The Leidinger case ended with a not guilty verdict. State's Attorney Robb plans more trials tomorrow.
