Arline Wilcott, three months, daughter of Mr and Mrs Albert Wilcott of Fenwood, died Monday evening from infantile spasms. Carnival Queen Vote Promises Election Next Thursday
The Queen of the Carnival will be chosen next Thursday evening as voting places close at 7 60 o clock and the final tally will be announced then. At 3 00 p m the committee will reveal votes up to that time and after that the ballot becomes secret until the 7 00 p m announcement.
Kreutzer Nominated by Republicans in 25th District
The Republican convention in Wausau renominated state Senator Andrew L. Kreutzer from Marathon and Clark counties after a single ballot, praising his experience and dedication. Salter was the opposing candidate, but Kreutzer led with 15 votes to 15 on the first round and earned broad support for re election. The convention pledged support for the Republican state ticket and Spooner.

Burglars Steal Tools From Blacksmith Shop
Burglars entered the Esser and Willicam blacksmith shop on Fourth Street last Friday night. They stole a full set of steel screw plates valued at 25 and a pair of mippers costing 9, leaving the store with selected tools. The lock was broken and a plunder bag is believed used. a suspect who spent Friday afternoon in the shop remains at large.

Three Fingers Cut Off By Accident Near Greenwood
Two young brothers of Frank Wagner near Greenwood were playing with an axe when the elder, age four, severed three fingers on his left hand. The injury required amputation above the second joint. The younger boy, age two, was present.
