Fright causes paralysis in Grand Rapids woman
Mrs Herman Binneboese, over fifty, was in her daughter's yard when a stray rifle shot from nearby boys frightened her. She collapsed, suffering paralysis of the upper body. Wexoosa Limited Wrecked Near Nekoosa Switch
A mixed train on the Soo line near Nekoosa sank off the rails Monday afternoon about a half mile south of the asylum crossing after a possible flange or rail defect. The combination smoker derailed but stayed upright while the passenger coach remained on track. Four cars carrying paper from the Nekoosa mill toppled and were smashed though the newspapers destined for Wisconsin were salvaged.

Death of Mrs Wilcox at New Lisbon home
Mrs. E. M. Wilcox of New Lisbon died yesterday at her daughter Mrs. Charles Sparr’s home on West Fourth Street after two years of ill health. A nervous disease was the immediate cause. She leaves three daughters, two sons and several grandchildren. Mr. Sparr and family plan to take the body to New Lisbon for the funeral, likely at the family home.
