The semi annual meeting of the Hub Rebekah district will gather Monday Oct 14 at the O O F hall in this city. May Have Owen Murderers Named Suspects

Death of Mrs Mees Pioneer Marshfield Resident
Mrs Xathatina Mees wife of Christ Mees died the first of last week at eighty years. Born March 1 1832 in Rhine province Germany she came to America in 1880 and to Marshfield in 1892. She suffered long as an invalid with fortitude. Survived by husband daughter Mrs Christ Kotmair and son Merchant Peter Moss.

Mrs. George Bauman? funeral in St Johns church
The funeral for Mrs. George Bauman was held at St John’s Catholic Church at 9 a.m. Monday. She died last Friday after a ten day illness with typhoid fever at age 47. Subway project at Soo crossing sparks city action

The Grand Rapids Reporter reports on the murder of Grant S. Beardsley a local merchant. Wilson admitted firing the fatal shot after Beardsley surprised him in the barn. Beardsley died the next morning. Wilson confessed 2 AM after arrest and pleaded guilty to life imprisonment.
