Time War Looms Between Chicago and Twin Cities Rail Lines

The Grand Rapids Tribune notes a likely time war among Chicago to Minneapolis and St Paul routes. The St Paul road reportedly seeks faster Chicago to Twin Cities runs, while other lines maintain prior equal running times despite longer distances. The Northwestern route via Princeton and its branch may carry the bulk of fast trains if feasible, though grade abruptness and line condition could delay such use for some time.
