New Town Cameron Formed After Legal Review In Marshfield Region
After a detailed inquiry into the legal status of nine sections south of Marshfield, the county board created the town of Cameron. A prior legal opinion questioned detachment, but a reconsidered vote approved the resolution by 9230 to of 0. The board also discussed a Civil War monument, funding up to 3000 dollars, and approved a separate Cranmoor creation from Pt Edwards and Seneca.

Mrs Lorenz Hartl long resident died at home Tuesday after nervous prostration. She was treated at Northern hospital near Ostkosh, but failing health returned home to die among family.
