Fined for setting fires in Norrie area
Last week John Gorski Casimer Newinski and Joseph Otrowski all of the town of Norrie were fined $25 and costs for setting fire to logs and sawdust after warnings from the deputy fire marshal. Mike Leppak, another guilty party who set a log pile on his farm after the marshal forbade it, refused to pay and was sentenced to sixty days in jail.
