Peter Allman Pioneer of Marshfield Dies at 75
Peter Allman a Marshfield resident since 1884 died Monday at his home on South Cedar street from heart failure. Born in Germany July 12 1838 he married Mary Russell in 1862 and leaves two sons and two daughters. The funeral will be held at ten this morning with Odd Fellows and Rev G D Fleer in charge. He was a member of Odd Fellows and Rebekah lodges.

Henry Johnson Masonic burial held in Marshfield
Henry Johnson died Saturday afternoon near Marshfield at age 73. Marshfield lodge No 224 escorted the body to Lindsey for a full Masonic burial after securing permission from Clintonville. Rev H Lothian led service at Nasonville church and I P Tiffault oversaw the grave. Interment was in Nasonville cemetery. Johnson lived in Lindsay and Marshfield and once served as Lindsey postmaster.

Local Locomotive Engineer Fred Krahn Dies at 57
Fred Krahn longtime Chicago and North Western locomotive engineer died at his South Cedar street home after a paralytic stroke. He was 57 and lived in the city eighteen years retiring on pension three years ago. Survived by widow Theresa, daughter Lillian, sons Fred and Elmer, mother Mrs Frederica Krahn, Manitowoc, and brother Frank Krahn. Funeral this afternoon at two from his residence with Badger Aerie of Eagles in charge. pallbearers include Masons and Hagies. interment at Hillside.

Police Raid Disord erly Place in Second Ward
Police raided a disorderly house in the Second ward Friday night. A local man paid a $25 fine plus costs as he was seen leaving the place. Mrs M Roseman keeper was jailed at Grand Rapids and brought back Monday for trial but adjourned until next Monday awaiting the district attorney’s arrival. The woman is described as past middle life.
