How He Found Sleep
Ballie Mendeem recalls a burglar’s tale of restless nights and a life altered by a family he observed while creeping through a house. He vows to reform after witnessing a widow, her children, and a thunder storm, then marries the mother and leaves crime behind, later prospering and cherishing that unexpected conversion.
