Sunny California Kaleidoscope by a Marshfield Party
The writer recounts visits from San Francisco to Los Angeles and beyond, describing Golden Gate Park Chinatown Petticoat Sutro baths and Presidio, the Mendocino redwoods, Mare Island navy yard and Spires of Shasta. In Los Angeles they critique real estate agents and praise the streetcar system and coastal side trips, Hollywood gardens of Paul de Longpre, and a Southern California Horse Show in Pasadena.
