Felker Bros patent for new culvert joint opens line
A.G. Felker of Felker Bros Manufacturing Co. in Marshfield secured U S letters patent for a new corrugated galvanized iron culvert and drain pipe joint. The design uses outside bolts for a water tight, easily assembled joint aiding farmers road crews and railroad contractors. Local plant will add culvert production to its Perfection line of products with high grade galvanized iron and steel.

Mrs Hoene Wins Tribune Menu Prize Of 100 Dollars
Mrs Arthur Hoene of Eau Claire Wisconsin won The Chicago Tribune 100 prize for the best 60 cent menu in a contest closed last week. Her husband aided by posting the winning menus at the last moment. The menu lists celery soup crackers beef tenderloin creamed onions boiled potatoes bread and butter orange pudding tea. Mrs Hoene was observed embroidering a baby yoke while the winner reviewed the proceedings.
