Marshfield Council Hears Apportionment of Taxes and Library Plan
The Marshfield council met in regular session to review county tax apportionment and consider library funding. Officials discussed gate and bell systems at gates, proposed a special fund for library needs, and authorized a study by a committee. A road contract was awarded to Nels Jobo for 80 dollars, and a county equalization dispute prompted the city attorney to seek a circuit judge appointment of commissioners for a fair valuation review. The meeting adjourned to March 15.
