Wisconsin Republican politics and La Follette influence
A chain of editorial notes and opinions from Wisconsin papers critique La Follette era politics, Spooner’s senate renomination, and local caucus dynamics. The items reference county delegates, campaign rhetoric, wardens, and interparty meddling while urging Republican unity and caution toward Democratic involvement.
