Curtiss Boy Dies After Lockjaw From Knee Scratch
Elmer Luath six year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Luath of Curtiss died at a city hospital Friday from lockjaw caused by blood poisoning after a knee scratch was neglected. He was buried at Curtiss, his home, on Monday.

Marshfield High School Class of 1916 Ends Year With Graduation Week
The Marshfield High School graduation week closed with a Senior class play at the Adler theater and commencement at the Armory. Miss Kamps was valedictorian as 37 seniors entered the workforce. The play Little Mrs Cummins received strong applause and the diplomas were awarded by Mrs. Victor A. Manon. The final Senior ball drew a large crowd with music by the Second Regiment orchestra and class colors purple and gold enhancing the hall.
