Annual Adventist Camp Meeting Near Marshfield
The Seventh Day Adventists prepare a tent city on the east side of Central avenue north of the Luecke residence with 500 campers, possible growth to 800-1000. Grounds cover about 10 acres, 30 tents ready to 125, pavilion for 1200, and a large dining tent. Services in English, German, and Scandinavian, opening with a varied daily program led by prominent ministers from Wisconsin and Michigan.

Manitowoc Excursion From Marshfield Draws Huge Crowd
The Wisconsin Central run a Marshfield to Manitowoc excursion at a $2 round trip Sunday. Over fifty tickets sold. notable attendees included Agent Riggs and Frank Strang among many others. The trip featured a baseball game between Sheboygan and Manitowoc, ending 7 to 4 in favor of Sheboygan, and returned to Marshfield without delay or incident.

Beell to Meet Berg in Worthless-Catch-On Contest
On Saturday evening June 10 Led Beell will meet John Berg in Ader's hall for a worthy catch contest. Berg, a Chicago wrestler and strongman, is a young athlete of promise with a 180 pound frame and training with heavy dumbbells. Berg has toured nationally, offers purses for falls, and has faced Bali Adali in prior exhibitions. Lundin, a famed Swedish strongman, travels with circuses and may give an exhibition.

He now holds most of Tp 31 R3 near Taylor counts, including 2700 acres from New York buyers, 7850 acres from Baston Penn, and 1490 acres from North Wisconsin Land Company via J H Wheelock. Lands are timbered and will gain access by a new spur under Marshfield law.
