GOLD MEDAL FLOUR MILLS SHOWCASE CAPACITY AND PROCESS
The Washburn-Crosby Mills produce GOLD MEDAL FLOUR with a daily capacity of 35 000 barrels and annually grind the equivalent of wheat from 20 000 farms. Over 150 cars of wheat enter daily, and more than 150 cars of flour and feed depart each day. The plant yields 10 500 000 loaves daily and features a six story Experimental Mill of 600 barrels daily for testing new machines before full integration. The firm emphasizes quality control through laboratory testing, expert millers, and ongoing research to ensure purity and consistency and invites buyers to see the process firsthand.
