One Day Workers Propose Shorter Year Claims
An excerpt from a New York Tribune argument insists workers should limit annual labor to one day per week and about 21 working days per month after holidays. It cites a threefold time split among work rest and recreation and calculates a total vacation of twenty days. The piece compares such proposals to historic misreadings of classical travelogues and another era’s discovery stories.
