The bride, daughter of the late Rev. Ed Borgia, taught at Marshfield High School two years. The groom, longtime superintendent of Marshfield’s Water Light and Power, deputy sheriff, and chief of the Fire Department, is praised for his character and leadership as the Times extends sincere congratulations.

Parade along Central Avenue impressed onlookers as seventy guard of animals, four abreast forty-horse team, elephants and wild beasts crossed streets, with ticket sales booming at Sextons'. The main tent housed up to eighteen thousand for an afternoon performance, drawing an estimated fifteen thousand inside the grounds and thousands more in nearby streets, before the show departed for Stillwater Minnesota that evening.
